HR presents “training” programs mandated by the government. These all present the law (force) rather than the reason we should do certain things.

HR also presents some useful training programs such as first aid, etc.

HR also presents other training programs such as management and leadership. Some of these are useful and some are not. They all are presented in a “one size fits all” format.

There is a completely different type of training program at companies and that is technical training. I don’t think that in 45 years of presenting technical training for my company or for other companies, only one or two of the programs was connected with HR. They were contracted for by the management of the department that needed the training. These were useful.
