What is RCM concept in GST?

Under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), the supplier supplies goods or service to the recipient and then after making payment to the supplier, recipient deposits the taxes with government.

RCM stands for Reverse Charge Mechanism.

Under Forward Charge Mechanism (FCM), the supplier supplies goods or services to the recipient and in return recipient make the payment (inclusive of GST) and then supplier deposit the respective taxes with government.

Under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), the supplier supplies goods or service to the recipient and then after making payment to the supplier, recipient deposits the taxes with government.

Under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), receiver only pays GST amount as like in FCM(Forward Charge Mechanism) but the compliance burden has shifted from supplier to receiver.
