How can I answer a question on why should I do an MBA after BSc in an interview?

Nobody is taking away the education I’ve received during the last four years of my B.Sc. I’ve been fascinated by the reputation and prestige of IBA, which is well regarded as the best business school in the country

was asked the same question during my MBA admission interview, and if I remember correctly, below is how I answered the question:

“Nobody is taking away the education I’ve received during the last four years of my B.Sc. I’ve been fascinated by the reputation and prestige of IBA, which is well regarded as the best business school in the country, and I would like to pursue MBA degree mainly for the following two reasons:

  1. To see the business side of things, which I was not taught during my B.Sc. courses
  2. To meet bright new smart people coming from different backgrounds and thus build up a strong network which will be an asset for the rest of my life
  3. To receive the professional grooming, which will definitely give me an edge in the ever competitive job market”

Then they asked me what is the definition of smart people (as I mentioned in my 2nd point)!? I managed to give them a convincing answer, although I can’t recall what exactly my response was! Nevertheless the outcome of my interview was successful. :)
