What type of questions are asked in the Wiley MTHREE interview?

Being an Intern at WileyMthree, I think I can answer this question. When you ask me about my overall experience of WileyMthree Internship recruitment process, I would say that it was not too easy but not too difficult too. On a scale of 1 to 5, if 1 is easy, 3 is moderate, and 5 is difficult. I would give it 2 or 3. The main reason behind this is that they expect us to code in both Java and Python languages.

When it comes to the Technical and HR round (Round 2 of the recruitment process), I would say it was easy. There was only one interviewer on the panel and was very friendly. The interviewer started the interview by asking simple questions like “How was your day?” and “How are you doing?”, of course, to make me comfortable. Some of the questions asked to me in this round go as follows:

  1. Tell me about yourself?
  2. What are your hobbies?
  3. Should hobbies be productive or relaxing? What is your opinion?
  4. How memory allocation in Python takes place?
  5. Explain about Join function in Python with examples?
  6. Basic questions on Python related to strings and lists.
  7. Displayed a Python code snippet that was on Bitwise operators and asked me to predict the output.
  8. Why there are no pointers in Java?
  9. More one or two basic questions on Java.
  10. Displayed a Java code snippet that was on for loop and asked me to predict the output.
  11. Write a Python code to split a given list into two halves and print a list as the output where the second half of the list should be before the first half in the final output list. I was also asked to execute and show the output.
  12. Difference between TRUNCATE and DELETE statements in SQL
  13. Given an SQL query, I was asked to predict the output.
  14. Write a java code to find the second maximum from an array given by the user. I was also asked to execute and show the output.

These were the questions that I could recall. The interview lasted for exactly 30mins.
