What is the safest way to answer the job interview question, "What have you heard about the company culture here?”

If you haven’t heard anything and say so, I imagine that the next thing to happen will tell you something about the company culture and ask whether you will fit it. For instance, it could be that they are extremely customer-focused and want new employees who are also customer focused.

I would answer it honestly. If you have heard something and are still at the interview, you are presumably comfortable with what you have heard. If you haven’t heard anything and say so, I imagine that the next thing to happen will tell you something about the company culture and ask whether you will fit it. For instance, it could be that they are extremely customer-focused and want new employees who are also customer focused. It could be that they are extremely fast-past and competitive and they want employees who will thrive under that sort of stress. It could be that they have had issues in the past with bullying and harassment but have taken strong steps to overcome that and want you to know that the problem you might have heard about has been addressed. If you are honest, you will find out what they have in mind.
